Ambassador Güvendiren was also former Chairperson of Türkiye-Israel Business Council in Türkiye, affiliated to DEIK. He was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Israel following the upgrading of the diplomatic representation level on 1992.
